Kripa is a founder Director of Adjukines Applied Solutions Pvt. Ltd. She has a strong academic background combined with extensive R&D and IP experience of ~20 years. Kripa is a PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM), New York, USA specializing in Microbiology & Immunology. She did a brief post-doc at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore before moving to pursue IP law from National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore while undergoing Patent Attorney training at the UK based firm Marks and Clerk, Singapore.
Given her background in applied research, an in-depth knowledge in biological sciences coupled with patent expertise, she consulted for academic institutions (such as NCBS, JNCASR and IISc in Bangalore) and to biotech start-ups (such as Gangagen and Stempeutics) to formulate strategies on translating basic science discoveries into products. Her consultation begins at the stage of idea inception, building product differentiation, carving out niche IP space to life cycle management.
With ardent passion to teach, she has been a visiting faculty at the Bangalore University and teaches IP Law at the Institute of Bioinformatics and applied Biosciences (IBAB), Bangalore.

Sourabh possesses ~17 years of experience in facilitating technology/IP commercialization, forging collaborations between R&D and industry, and S&T-based entrepreneurship. Sourabh’s expertise lies in working with scientific and business fraternities to negotiate mutually rewarding techno-legal-commercial arrangements. He has interacted with scientists/researchers of >100 R&D organizations, in India and abroad, and championed/facilitated about 30 translational R&D projects with success in translation by way of 40 tech/IP out-license deals, stitched together ~15 deep-tech consulting projects, spun-off five start-ups (including a full exit) from a GoI R&D institute. He worked with 10s of start-ups, managed a portfolio of about ~250 patents, structured ~40 B2G and B2B collaborations, championed ~15 in-license deals, co-founded a R&D commercialization arm (a Section-8 company) and headed it as Executive Director and CEO.
Sourabh brings-in techno-commercial, techno-legal, and techno-managerial experience and expertise necessary for R&D-, deep tech-, driven businesses by conjoining science, commerce, IP, law and business, and thereby he works with scientists/technocrats, lawyers, CAs/CSs, R&D Leaders, CEOs, CSOs, heads and Profs of institutes, clinicians, and personnel from BD, sales, and marketing.
Before co-founding Adjukines, Sourabh worked for JNCASR, Bangalore (a DST, GoI supported R&D institute), CSIR-Tech, Pune (a tech commercialization arm for public-funded R&D institutes), Indian School of Business, Hyderabad (an internationally top-ranked B-school), Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad (an institute of excellence for research and training for scientists/bureaucrats), and pharmaceutical companies like, Nicholas Piramal and Ranbaxy, during which he championed technology/R&D/IP promotion, S&T based new venture creation, tech commercialization, and business development activities.
Sourabh was a Working Group Member for the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems of the Dept. of Science & Technology, GoI – a large Mission with the total budget outlay of Rs. 3660 crores for 5 years that created 25 Tech Innovation HUBs (all Section-8 companies) for technology development and commercialization; was a reviewer of ‘Idea2PoC’ program (eventually rechristened as “Elevate”) - a funding scheme for start-ups instituted by the Dept. of IT, BT and S&T, Govt. of Karnataka. Sourabh has been a reviewer of projects funded under DBT’s Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) program. Besides, he has been a panelist and invited speaker at various forums.

Somnath Ganguly comes with an in-depth experience in solid state physics and structural chemistry. He specialized in IR and Raman spectroscopic studies of solid phase transitions during his PhD and Post Doctoral tenure at the Indian Institute of science (IISc), Bangalore. He then went on to work as a formulation scientist at Astra Zeneca, Bangalore. With his scientific expertise, Somnath was involved in patent searches, preparation and analysis at GE before moving to Honeywell Technologies as the IP Lead (advanced materials). Somnath also worked with Infosys as an Innovation Lab Researcher. Currently, he contributes to Adjukines as a subject matter expert.

Dr. Vasan Sambandamurthy is Senior Vice President, Global Operations at Bugworks Research Inc – a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that is developing novel class of broad-spectrum antibacterial agents and immunotherapies to treat patients with critical care needs in infection and cancer.
Vasan brings over 20 years of professional experience in vaccine discovery and drug development at major global corporations like Novartis, AstraZeneca, and Biocon. At these organisations, he has held senior leadership positions, provided strategic directions, and orchestrated major business operations to develop affordable medicines across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, diabetes, infectious diseases (specifically against tuberculosis and malaria) and inflammation. He went on to leverage his academic training and real-word experience in managing large Research & Development portfolios, interdisciplinary and cross-functional global teams, regulatory submissions, and global alliances to advance diverse classes of molecules into clinical development.
